NICHROLOY
Clean, fine-grain, alloy steel shafting produced by the electric furnace process and furnished hot-rolled for applications requiring high tensile strength and resistance to wear, shock and fatigue.
- Can replace: heat-treated 4340, 4140, 4150 and 6150
- Nichroloy – ½ to 16” diameter, up to 27’ long
V-MAX
An economical, universal bar stock designed for strength as well as easy machining.
- Can replace: 4140 ANN (CF or polished), 1144, 1141, 1045, 1020 and 1018
- Sizes: ¼ to 8” diameter, up to 24’ in length
MAR-10
A vacuum-remelt grade of martensitic age-hardenable stainless steel, custom-designed for pump-shaft type applications which require higher strengths than 304 or 316/317, and greater corrosion resistance than 410/416 or 17-4PH. Mar-10 is aircraft quality, specially ground and polished, and straightened to pump shaft requirements.
- Can replace: aircraft quality alloy and stainless, 450, 440, 416, 410, 17-4, 317, 316 and 304
- Sizes: 5/8 to 7” diameter, up to 24’ in length
MANGABRAZE
An abrasion-resistant, work-hardening, proprietary chemistry alloy plate intended for use where both high hardness and toughness are desired. Field tested under the most severe conditions, Mangabraze is a proven leader in resistance to wear failure due to its rich Nickel/Manganese chemistry. Significantly reduces costs by providing an extended service life. 360-425 BHN
- Can replace: alloy tool steel grades 4140, 4340, 0-1, D-2; alloy wear plates
- Sizes: 3/16 to 4” thick, up to 8 x 24’
E-Z BRAZE
A 280-340 BHN version of Mangabraze, E-Z Braze is easy to weld and easy to form. Designed for applications where ease of fabrication and resistance to shockare required.
- Can replace: alloy tool steel grades 4140, 4340, 0-1, D-2; alloy wear plates
- Sizes: 3/16 to 6” thick, up to 8 x 24’
TUFFBRAZE
A high quality abrasion-resistant liner plate engineered to provide excellent resistance to a variety of severe service abrasive applications where ductility and fabrication may be required. 400-444 BHN
- Can replace: abrasion-resistant wear plate, castings
- Sizes: ¼ to 2” thick, up to 8 x 24’
TUFFBRAZE 500
A high hardness alloy AR plate, engineered for cut and weld applications where severe low stress (smaller particle) abrasion is the main cause of failure. 500-515 BHN
- Can replace: AR plate, Cr-Fe carburizing or nitriding steels, carbide overlay
- Sizes: ¼ to 2” thick, up to 8 x 24’
TUFFBRAZE 600
600 BHN surface on 515 BHN base alloy AR plate.
- Can replace: AR plate, Cr/W carbide overlay, thermal spray coated steels

TUFFCORE
600 BHN ID hardness abrasion-resistant wear pipe, ideal for applications where heat and heavy abrasion penetrate and erode the average pipe (e.g. ash slurry lines, coal, gravel and other abrasive product conveyance systems).
- Sizes: 2.5 to 24” OD, STD or EH, up to 20’ in length
NICHROLOY L
A low carbon version of the Nichroloy product line, ideal for tubing applications where welding is required.

OH HOLLOW BAR
