Bill Ouwejan has over 25 years of experience in the oilfield distribution business and brings strong business acumen to the management team. Bill joined Apex Distribution Inc. in 2000 shortly after it’s time of inception, as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He has been pivotal to the growth of the company and was appointed President of Apex Distribution Inc. in January 2022.

Bill has long time experience, knowledge and a solid understanding of all facets of distribution, operations and management.

Bill’s leadership style includes the encouragement of innovative ideas with a strong focus on the empowerment of employees. This approach has helped Apex attract top talent in the industry and has been instrumental to continue to be an employer of choice. Bill’s focus has always been on Apex Distribution being recognized as the best service-focused company and as a top player in the Canadian Oilfield Supply arena.

Vice President Operations

Todd Critch was appointed Vice President Operations in January 2022. Todd joined Apex Distribution Inc. in 2005 starting up the company’s first Valve Service location focusing on actuation. Over the years Todd took on the wider responsibility of Regional Manager for Apex Valve Services overseeing the entire network of AVS locations. His ability to evaluate business opportunities and make effective business decisions has led to tremendous growth. His abilities in business and strong management style have earned a reputation of business excellence throughout the industry. In his career, he has gained a full knowledge and understanding of all facets of distribution operations and management. Todd’s focus on hiring the right people in the right area and empowering them to do what is best for business incorporates the values of Apex and is the key to the success of the network.

Todd leads with integrity and his professional focus and priorities have always reflected a high degree of excellence recognizing the importance of sales, operational processes and people.

Vanessa Miller

Director of Human Resources

Vanessa Miller joined Apex Distribution in August of 1999 and is a key individual to the organization. She has over 25 years of experience in the oilfield supply business in human resources, administrative and operational areas. Vanessa has implemented HR programs and policies, managing employee development and relations. Her focus has been developing an employee oriented culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, teamwork, high performance and quality. Her skills were instrumental during the start-up phase of Apex and she continues to be a valued part of the organization helping bring Apex to be an employer of choice. Vanessa’s knowledge, professionalism and diverse abilities are augmented with her positive disposition. As Director of our Human Resource and Administrative and Safety departments and a part of our management team, Vanessa embraces and emulates the fact that our people are our most valued resource. Vanessa is an active participant in various industry and human resource organizations. Her abilities and business acumen are a benefit to all of Apex’s stakeholders.
